Two friends died in a terrible collision between BMW and Canter

Patiala, June 28 - Two friends died in a horrific collision between a BMW car and a Canter on the Patiala-Pihowa highway at around 2 am last night. The accident happened while overtaking the car near village Akbarpur Afghana. The police of Julkan police station has started an investigation on the complaint of Jatinder Singh, a resident of village Rohar Jagir.

The accident happened while overtaking the car near village Akbarpur Afghana. The police of Julkan police station has started an investigation on the complaint of Jatinder Singh, a resident of village Rohar Jagir.
 The deceased have been identified as Jatinder Singh's brother Sandeep Singh son of Rai Sahib and his friend Lakhwinder Singh son of Karnail Singh, resident of Rohar Jagir. Today, the bodies of both were handed over to the heirs after postmortem at Rajindra Hospital, Patiala. The Cantor driver overtook the car coming in front while driving recklessly.
This caused the canter to hit Sandeep Singh's car, due to which he lost his balance and the car collided with another canter. In which both the persons died on the spot. After the accident, SHO of Julkan police station Gurpreet Singh Bhinder reached the spot with his team for investigation. The police immediately took possession of the bodies of both and sent them for post-mortem. A case has been registered against canter driver Om Prakash, son of Kalu Ram, a resident of village Miranpur.
