Hoshiarpur - Regional Transport Officer Ravinder Singh Gill said that the online portal for paying fees and taxes for vehicle and driving license related services by the Finance Department will be closed from June 14 to 18 due to maintenance. In this regard, by issuing a letter from the Transport Commissioner Punjab, it has been stated that the documents or driving licenses of the vehicles are expiring in these four days. So for the convenience of the general public, the period of those documents has been further extended for five days So that they don't have to pay late fees or penalties.
The Regional Transport Officer informed that from 14th to 18th June 2024 the IFMS portal will remain closed and no vehicle or carriage payment will be made. RC, License, Permit and other services will remain closed, but documents expiring on these days will not incur any penalty till June 24, 2024.
