Hoshiarpur - Various cells are formed by the Election Commission in view of the elections, so that the election process can be conducted in a transparent and successful manner. Accordingly, in view of the Lok Sabha elections-2024, a media certification and monitoring cell was also formed under the guidelines of District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal.
 Under which the entire team kept a special eye on the electronic media, paid news, social media from the time the election code was issued to the polling day. The District Election Officer said that this cell has a very important role, which works day and night after the election code. He said that this cell monitors news channels, advertisements, paid news and social media platforms, so that action can be taken on any activity related to violation of election code. He appreciated the entire team of Media Certification and Monitoring Cell for performing their duty diligently and diligently during the elections.
