Patiala, May 22 - A day before Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Patiala, a Khalistani flag was hoisted on a building and slogans of Khalistan were found written on the wall. After receiving the information, the police immediately reached the spot and removed the flag. The slogan written on the wall was also erased. 
Currently, the police have not registered any case. However, the administration is on alert, because recently Gurpatwant Singh Pannu of "Sikhs for Justice" has tried to spoil the atmosphere of Punjab by releasing a video. It is said that the building on which the flag was hoisted is said to belong to the former media adviser of the former chief minister. This flag was installed in an under-construction building on Mini Secretariat Road. Along with this, the slogan of Khalistan was also written on the bridge of the old bus stand, which was erased by the police.
In a viral video released by terrorist Pannu, Pannu has said that local Khalistani supporters will target Narendra Modi when he comes to Punjab. He has alleged that Modi is responsible for killing thousands of Sikh farmers and Nijjar in Canada. He has also threatened BJP candidates Hans Raj Hans and Ravneet Bittu.
