
Chote Bheem and Bal Pandey made Nawanshahr residents aware of the sweep activities
Nawanshahr - In view of the Lok Sabha elections 2024, as per the instructions of the Chief Electoral Officer Punjab and the orders of Deputy Commissioner cum District Election Officer Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa, residents of Nawanshahr of District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar came out in the costumes of Chhota Bheem and Red Panda in Punjab on June 1. Awareness was spread throughout the city to participate in the upcoming grand festival of democracy.

Awareness was spread throughout the city to participate in the upcoming grand festival of democracy.
Additional Deputy Commissioner cum District Nodal Officer Sweep Rajiv Kumar sent both the vessels in the morning. And gave the message that all the voters of Nawanshahr must exercise their franchise. This initiative was taken by Assistant Nodal Officer Sweep Satnam Singh Sanuni and his team members Hardeep Kaur, Assistant Professor, Department of Politics, Child Protection Officer Kanchan Arora and Computer Teacher Omkar Singh from BLM Girls College, Nawanshahr. On this occasion, Satnam Singh Sunni said that this unique method will attract every child, youth, man, woman and elderly and this time the district will support us in achieving the mission of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, Pajtar Par.
These costumes will go to all the public institutions of Nawanshahr, bus stand, civil hospital, district administration complex, convenience center, office, Sub Divisional Magistrate Nawanshahr, Kothi Road, Railway Road, Kulam Road, Sugar Mill, Rahon Road, Barandari Garden etc. This group will motivate voters to vote in June. The sweep team of the district also visited the city and saw a unique attraction.
On this occasion, both these outfits also distributed pamphlets related to voter awareness to the general public in buses, bus stands, shops and malls. Akshita Gupta also appreciated this initiative. He took this opportunity to inspire his entire staff to be a part of “Chona da Parv – Desh da Garv”. On this occasion, Daljit Singh Election Kanugo, Kulbir Singh Negi, Amit Kumar, Ajit Singh, Harpal Singh, Sham Lal, Avtar Singh, Rajneesh Kumar, Jitinder Kumar etc. were present.
