Patiala, May 7 - Today, on the occasion of World Asthma Day, TB Hospital, Government Medical College, Patiala organized an awareness rally from Sheranwala Gate to TB Hospital to sensitize people about Asthma. On this occasion, Professor Pulmonary Medicine Department Dr. Vishal Chopra thanked the guests and gave information about the disease of asthma and said that asthma is a disease of the lungs.
  The risk of which is seen in people of almost every age. Its patients suffer from swelling and stiffness of the muscles around the airways Due to which it becomes difficult for them to breathe. Many environmental conditions are known to exacerbate problems for asthmatics Therefore, it is important that people suffering from this disease continue to take precautions.
He said that due to the disease, the respiratory tract swells Due to which there is difficulty in breathing. Shortness of breath and cough problems are also due to this. In such a case, if the patient is allergic to dust and smoke, then the problem increases Also if there are infections like cold and cough then the problem of asthma can increase. On this occasion, an awareness rally was taken out from Sherawala Gate to TB Hospital by the medical and paramedical staff of TB Hospital and the students of Veer Haqiqat Rai Senior Secondary School. A large number of students including Dr. VK Dangwal, Deputy Medical Superintendent of Government Rajendra Hospital, Dr. Harsimran Tuli were also present in the event.
