Garshankar, May 7 - Prominent social worker Harjit Singh Nagpal and Shahar Wasia in a memorandum to Municipal Council Garshankar have requested the administration to take action against the ever increasing number of stray dogs in every street neighborhood of Garshankar.
Harjit Singh Nagpal said that every day passers-by are being preyed upon by stray dogs in some street or neighborhood. He said that last week a woman and a man were bitten by stray dogs.
They demanded from the administration that while fulfilling its responsibility, the administration should make adequate arrangements regarding the stray dogs so that common people can walk in their streets and neighborhoods without fear late in the morning
