The first rehearsal of the polling staff was held across the district regarding the Lok Sabha elections

Hoshiarpur - Under the guidelines of the Election Commission regarding the Lok Sabha elections, the first rehearsal of about 8200 polling staff of the district was conducted today at the Vidhan Sabha constituency level under the supervision of the concerned AROs. Meanwhile, District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Hoshiarpur Komal Mittal reviewed the rehearsal of the polling staff of Hoshiarpur and Chabewal constituencies at Riyat Bahra Group of Institutes.

   On this occasion, he said that the rehearsal of the polling staff for 7 assembly constituencies in the district was conducted today. He told that

And Garhshankar's Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College was conducted at Mahilpur.
  He said that the trained polling staff included presiding officer, assistant presiding officer and polling officer. He said that during this, the polling staff was given detailed information about conducting the election process in a smooth and transparent manner.
   He said that according to the instructions of the Election Commission, the polling parties should know each and every action that will take place on the day of voting, so information was given about the entire process of voting through a dummy machine. He said that in a polling party there is a presiding officer, an assistant presiding officer and two polling officers and each has their own work. On this occasion, training was given to the polling staff by master trainers.
