Inspection of counting centers and strong rooms by Deputy Commissioner
Hoshiarpur - Deputy Commissioner-cum-Returning Officer Lok Sabha Constituency Hoshiarpur Komal Mittal today inspected counting centers and strong rooms set up at Rayat Bahra Group of Institutes, Hoshiarpur regarding Lok Sabha Elections-2024.
Hoshiarpur - Deputy Commissioner-cum-Returning Officer Lok Sabha Constituency Hoshiarpur Komal Mittal today inspected counting centers and strong rooms set up at Rayat Bahra Group of Institutes, Hoshiarpur regarding Lok Sabha Elections-2024. Meanwhile, he gave necessary guidelines to the officials regarding complete security of voting machines and transparent counting of votes on the day of counting. Apart from this, they also inspected the counting tables, barricading, security, media center, parking, washrooms and other arrangements being installed. He said that under Lok Sabha Elections-2024, the counting of votes to be held on June 1 in Lok Sabha constituency Hoshiarpur will be on June 4, 2024.
He said that counting centers have been set up at two places for the counting of votes of different Vidhan Sabha constituencies of Hoshiarpur Lok Sabha Constituency. He said that the counting of assembly constituencies Hoshiarpur, Mukerian, Dasuha, Urmur, Chabewal, Bhulath and Phagwara will be held at Riyat Bahra Group of Institutes, Hoshiarpur. While the counting of Vidhan Sabha Constituency Sri Hargobindpur and Sham Chaurasi will be held at Multi Skill Development Center Hoshiarpur. On this occasion Additional Deputy Commissioner-cum-Additional District Election Officer Hoshiarpur Rahul Chaba, SDR Hoshiarpur-cum-ARO Vidhan Sabha Constituency Hoshiarpur Preetinder Singh Bains, SP Manoj Kumar, Tehsildar Elections Sarabjit Singh, Tehsildar Hoshiarpur Gursevak Chand, District System Manager Charan Kamal Singh, District Public Relations Officer Hardev Singh Asi, Kanungo Elections Deepak Kumar and Harpreet Kaur, SDO Ravinder Singh and other officials were present.
