Sharma said that Gandhi has been a Member of Parliament of Aam Aadmi Party before this. After this he joined the Congress by dealing with the interests of the people of Patiala and became the candidate of the Congress. In Patiala, Congress candidate Dharamvir Gandhi and AAP candidate Balbir Singh are opposing each other, while in Kurukshetra (Haryana), Punjab Cabinet Minister Harpal Cheema and former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Hooda are on the same platform.
