Block level election meeting was held under the leadership of district leader Karnail Singh.
In which the teachers of Mahilpur Block participated on a large scale. The block committee was elected in this plenary session. In which Karnail Singh was elected Block President, Block Secretary Harish Kumar, Cashier Manjit Kaur, Block Committee Member Baksho Rani, Balwinder Singh, Harwinder Singh, Amarjit Singh, Kulwinder Singh, Manjinder Singh were elected. Addressing the delegates in the meeting, district president Sukhdev Dansiwal said that the government should cancel the National Education Policy 2020, restore the old pension scheme. Along with this, the government should merge the computer teacher with the CSR rule in the education department. The DTF union opposes the damage the government is doing to the education of students by putting teachers in election duties and BLO duties. Govt should meet the shortage of teachers in primary block Mahilpur and Kot Fatuhi and provide grade four posts in primary. Data entry operator should be given at the center level.
