Nawanshahr - The 133rd birthday of Babasaheb Dr. Ambedkar was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Gobindpur village of Maa Kabal Singh last night. In which Gurdayal Bodh ji and Professor Ram Krishna ji Khakar Khurd as the chief guests gave their views and said that Babasaheb Dr. Ambedkar ji gave his all for us but he never looked back from his mission.
Suffering was only suffering in his life, but the great great man continued to strive for religious freedom, social change and economic liberation. But regrettably, even today we do not want to give up those superstitions, superstitions and hypocrisy. We are embracing that religion in the same way. You still have a chance to leave that religion and establish your own kingdom. The book 'Tathagata Buddha and his Dhamma' written in Punjabi by Gurdial Bodh Ji expressed happiness in distribution to many youths and women. The team of 'Manav Kalan Kendra' Lasara also presented a very good program to carry forward the mission of Babasaheb. Renowned journalist and writer Dr. Charanjit Sallah and Madam Balbir Kaur also recited poems dedicated to Babasaheb Dr. Ambedkar Ji. The residents of the city watched and listened to the event till two in the night and got information about the revolutionary life of Babasahebji.
The organizing committee also served langar and tea with great enthusiasm.
