Patiala, April 22 - An army jawan from Sangrur was killed while his fiancee was seriously injured in a collision between a PRTC bus and a car near Ghagga. The overtaking PRTC bus hit the soldier's Maruti car directly. In this face-to-face collision, 24-year-old soldier Pradeep Singh died on the spot. Pooja Rani, the fiancee of the soldier, who was sitting in the seat next to her, was seriously injured.
According to the information received, the fiancee of the soldier Pooja Rani is a resident of Shutrana. Today he had come from Sangrur to meet his fiancee so that both could do wedding shopping. The two were traveling in a Maruti car when a bus hit their car near Satsang Bhavan. SHO Sub Inspector Darshan Singh of Ghagga police station said that coordination is being done with the soldier's family. Further action will be taken after the arrival of the family.
