Hoshiarpur - An alumni meet 'Anusmaran 2024' was organized at the local DAV College of Education. In which old students of the college from 1966 to last year participated. The chief guest of the program was RM Bhalla. Principal Dr. Vidhya Bhalla welcomed all the dignitaries on this occasion and shed light on the multi-faceted history and day-to-day achievements of the college.
On this occasion, the old students of the college captivated everyone by presenting a colorful program expressing their experiences related to the college through songs, ghazals and thoughts. The head of the management committee, Dr. Anup Kumar, congratulated the principal of the college, Dr. Vidhya Bhalla, on the successful organization of the program and said that after getting education from this institution, students are contributing by occupying high positions. Alumni Association President Harish Sharma said that the suggestions given by the old students hold a special place in the future progress of the college. DL Anand expressed the hope that old students will stay connected with the college through such events. In the elections of Alumni Association, Mr. Gautam Mehta as Chief Patron, Dr. Vidhya Bhalla as Patron, Mr. Harish Sharma as Principal, Prof. Sharanjit Saini as Vice Principal, Munish Kumar Ralhan as Secretary, Chandraprakash as Co-Secretary, Mrs. Neelam Saini as Treasurer and Ashwini Dutt Sharma, Commandant Sardar Rashpal Singh, Principal Amandeep Sharma, Principal AS Tatra, Sangeeta Vasudev were appointed as executive members. On this occasion, DAV College Management Committee Subhash Chandra, Sardar Mohan Singh Lehal, District Language Officer Sandeep Sharma, Principal Rakesh Kumar, Inspector Harbans Singh, Principal Sardar AP Singh, Harshinder Pal were also present. At the end, all the present former students were honored by presenting mementos.
