Chief Agriculture Officer Dr. Gurmail Singh said that during the visit to the villages along with Agriculture Officer Dr. Shubkaran Singh, Agriculture Extension Officer Dr. Sucha Singh, and Block Technology Manager Dr. Jagdeep Singh, he saw that wheat harvest has definitely been affected due to unseasonal rains but nowhere No damage was seen.
He said that the survey is being conducted in other blocks along with the rest of the villages. He appealed to the farmers that the wheat should be harvested only when the moisture in the wheat is as per the government procurement.
On this occasion, Agriculture Officer Dr. Subhakaran Singh said that the farmers should estimate the yield of wheat seed with a special variety and store it without disease and dry well. So that house seed can be sown during the coming hadi season.
Farmers Jaswant Singh, Harpinder Singh, Bhagwant Singh etc. were present on this occasion.
