Una, April 20:- In view of the Lok Sabha elections 2024, the first randomization of polling personnel was organized in the NIC room of the Deputy Commissioner's office on Saturday. District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner, while presiding over the randomization, informed that the second randomization of polling personnel deployed for the elections will be held on May 16, 2024.
He informed that in the first randomization of the data of 3112 polling personnel for PRO, APRO and PO appointed in total 516 polling stations of the district, according to the feed data, they have been matched and shortlisted on DISE Next Gen software and locked. In this regard, orders will be issued for the rehearsals of polling personnel for election duty. He said that after the order was issued, all the department heads instructed the personnel working under their control to provide their election duty orders as soon as possible and all the personnel were instructed to get their election duty orders as per the order.
District Election Officer said that the first and second rehearsal schedule has been issued for the election personnel for PRO, APRO and PO posted in various assembly constituencies. He informed that the first rehearsal for PRO and APRO in Chintpurni (AZ)-41 will be held on 25th April and the second rehearsal will be held on 22nd May in Maharana Pratap Government College, Amb. Apart from this, polling for officers will be held on 26th April and 23rd April.
The first rehearsal for PRO/APRO posted in Gagret-42 constituency will be held on 27th April and the second rehearsal on 22nd May and the first rehearsal for PO will be held on 28th April and the second on 23rd May at Dr. BR Ambedkar Government Polytechnic College, Ambota.
43-The first rehearsal for the polling personnel deployed in Haroli will start at Skill Development Center Palakwah on 26th April and the second on 22nd May. Apart from this, exams for PO will be held on 27th April and 23rd May.
For the APRO/PRO posted on election duty in Una-44, the first rehearsal will start on 25th April and the second rehearsal on 22nd May in Government College, Una. Apart from this, recruitment for PO will start on 26th April and 23rd May.
The first rehearsal will be held at ABVP Government College Bangana for the election personnel appointed for Kutlahar-45 constituency on 27th April and the second on 22nd May and for PO on 28th April and 23rd May. The District Election Officer said that the officers/employees whose names are registered in 42-Gagret or 45-Kutlahar constituency will have to cast their vote only through postal ballot. All employees voting through postal ballot will be able to cast their ballot only at the Facilitation Center set up at the rehearsal venue on the day of the second rehearsal or on subsequent rehearsal days. Police and other employees deployed on election duty can cast their vote through postal ballot in the facilitation center set up in the office of the concerned Assistant Returning Officer. As per the instructions of the Election Commission, this time postal ballot will not be sent to any employee by post. Jatin Lal said that the orders of the polling personnel deployed on election duty will be issued to the concerned departmental heads through the Assistant Returning Officer.
