Garhshankar April 17 - Yesterday Rotary Eye Bank and Corneal Transplantation Society Hoshiarpur organized an organ donation camp dedicated to the birthday of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar in the courtyard of the Gurdwara Sahib of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji with the support of Sri Guru Ravidas Parbandhak Committee Sekhowal. In which 4 persons filled the form for body donation and 12 persons for eye donation.
Meanwhile, retired Subedar Major Ashwani Kumar Heer along with his wife Amarjit Kaur, Chaman Lal and Pushpa Devi filled the forms for body donation. Rotary Eye Bank and Corneal Transplantation Society Hoshiarpur Chairman JB Bahl, President Sanjeev Arora, General Secretary BK Sharma, AAP Ex-Servicemen Wing District President Gurdayal Singh Bhanot, Tilak Raj Pipliwal distributed body donation and eye donation forms to the people present. Due to which even after death someone can be given a new life by donating body or eyes. So we all should motivate people to donate organs and eyes.
