SAS Nagar, April 17 - Bhandara and Chhabeel were organized on the occasion of Ramnami by Shri Ram Leela and Dussehra Committee Phase-1. Before distributing langar, the committee members worshiped Lord Shri Ram.
Ramlila Committee Chairman Ashu Sood said that Shri Ram Leela and Dussehra Committee has been staging Ramlila in Mohali for the last many years and programs are organized by the committee members on every Ramnami. On this occasion, committee vice president Prateek Kapoor, general secretary Kamal Sharma, joint secretary Sandeep Rana, treasurer Bhupinder Sodhi and executive members Vikramjit Singh, Sikandar, Gaurakh, Aditya and others were present.

Prabhat Pheri was taken out on the occasion of Ramnami.
Kharar: On the occasion of Ramnami, Prabhat Pheri was taken out from Shri Ram Temple today by Sarovar Vikas Samiti Kharar. Press Secretary of the committee, Rohit Mishra said that this Prabhat Pheri, taken out with the help of all the religious and social institutions of Kharar, started from Shri Ram Bhawan Kharar and after touring the city of Kharar, ended back at Shri Ram Bhawan. During this period, the leaders of Prabhat Pheri were Dharampal Sharma and his wife Mrs. Indu Pal Sharma. During Prabhat Pheri, Mrs. Pravesh Sharma and Ashupuri sang bhajans.
