
PGIMER’s Swachhta Pakhwada culminates with Resounding Success and Unwavering Commitment to Year-Round Cleanliness Drive
PGIMER concluded its Swachata Pakhwada, a fortnight-long cleanliness drive aimed at fostering a culture of cleanliness and hygiene within the institution and its surrounding areas, with a resounding success at an impressive culmination event organised here at Bhargava Auditorium, PGIMER today. PGIMER concluded its Swachata Pakhwada, a fortnight-long cleanliness drive aimed at fostering a culture of cleanliness and hygiene within the institution and its surrounding areas, with a resounding success at an impressive culmination event organised here at Bhargava Auditorium, PGIMER today.

It requires strong commitment and tireless work.
I commend our diligent and devoted sanitation workers, our 'karmayogis' for their incessant efforts in fulfilling this crucial responsibility," stated Prof.Vivek Lal, Director PGIMER, expressing his appreciation to the sanitation team, while addressing at the culmination event of Swachhta Pakhwada.
Emphasizing the significance of sustaining a clean and tidy environment within the hospital premises, the Director further stated; “The collective effort and massive participation in the Swachhta Pakhwada that started on 1st April reflects the strong commitment of the PGIMER community to maintain a safe, clean, and healthy hospital environment.”
The culmination event, marked by an impressive awards ceremony to recognize the outstanding contributions of individuals and teams who went above and beyond in their efforts to promote cleanliness and sanitation, was graced by the presence of dignitaries; including Prof. R. K.Ratho, Sub-Dean (Research), Prof. Vipin Koushal, Medical Superintendent & Head, Deptt.of Hospital Administration, Mr. Varun Ahluwalia, Financial Advisor to mention a few.
The event also witnessed the enthusiastic participation from faculty, hospital officers, senior administrative officers, residents, nursing officers, housekeeping and sanitation staff, other allied departments and NGOs highlighting a unified commitment to fostering cleanliness and hygiene.
The event also witnessed the release of a soulful and melodious Swachhta Song.
At the Swachhta Pakhwada culmination, commendations were awarded to sanitation and housekeeping workers for their exemplary service, alongside felicitating winners of cleanliness-related competitions and acknowledging areas within the institute excelling in cleanliness efforts.
The event concluded with an unwavering commitment by PGIMER to escalate the cleanliness drive throughout the year.
