Chandigarh, April 10 - Punjab Secretariat Sahitya Sabha (Reg:) President Malkit Singh Aujla, General Secretary Bhupinder Singh Jhaj, Advisor Raj Kumar Sahowalia, Paramdeep Singh Bhabat, Harpreet Singh Balgan etc. jointly launched the new poetry book Kavik Lakiran poster released.

The president of the council and the editor of the book Malkit Singh Aujla said that a joint book of songs, poems and ghazals composed by the officers and employees working in the secretariat has been prepared. Apart from this, the works of famous poets have also been included in this book to encourage the pen of new writers. Among them are Shamsher Sandhu, Manmohan Singh Daun, Bachan Bedil, Albel Brar, Harwinder Ohapuri, Sarabjit Virdi, Labh Singh Chatamli, Sai Sketari, Bhupinder Mataur Wala, Prof. Sardul Singh Aujla, Ali Rajpura etc.

He said that among the writers of the Secretariat, Raj Kumar Sahowalia, Ajmer Sagar, Colonel Sahota, Amar Virdi, General Hoshiarpuri, Dalbir Saroa, Kartar Chhina, Bhupinder Jhaj, Baljinder Balli, Harpreet Balgan, Ujagar Singh Pannuanwala, Navpreet Singh, Kuldeep Khara, Roy, John Punjabi, Sukhwinder Nurpuri, Arshdeep Singh, Inderjit Singh, Daljit Kaur Daun, Jitinder Kaur Bindra, Sudesh Kumari, Nirmala and Baljit Kaur etc.'s works will also be included.

He said that the Sahitya Sabha will release this book on April 17 during a function in Chandigarh. Manjit Singh Narang, IAS (Ret.) will be the chief guest of the event While Dr Davinder Singh Boha, District Language Officer Mohali will preside over the programme
