SAS Nagar, April 10 - The core committee meeting of Citizen Welfare and Development Forum Mohali was held under the leadership of President Paramjit Singh Happy at Gurdwara Guru Ravidas Bhavan Phase 7 Mohali, in which the forum's election was held and other issues were discussed.

The General Secretary of the Forum Mr. KL Sharma said that the members present in the meeting first paid tribute to the departed office bearers. He said that after this the agenda item was discussed. First of all, it was considered to hold the pending election of the forum for a long time, about which all the members asked to hold the election soon.

He said that a committee was formed to conduct the election on this occasion, in which Sher Singh was made the convener, Deepak Malhotra, Sukhdeep Singh and Gagan Dhaliwal were made committee members and PD Wadhwa was made the presiding officer.

He said that due to the departure of Mohan Singh, the cashier of the forum, the responsibility of Joint Finance Secretary was given to Pyara Singh during the meeting. It was also decided in the meeting that the annual donation of the associations did not come till the year 2019. They should be deposited with the Joint Finance Secretary as soon as possible. It was also clarified in the meeting that only those associations whose subscription will be cleared by 2019 will have the right to vote.

Apart from others, Kamaljit Singh Ruby, Jasbir Singh Jassi, Sucha Singh Klaud, Harbinder Singh Saini, Hardyal Singh Thekedar, Pyaara Singh, Ajit Singh were also present in the meeting.
