He instructed the food safety team to ensure media coverage of awareness activities. The representatives of the education department and the district program officer should also improve the cleanliness arrangements in the kitchen for preparing mid-day meals in government schools and angandis so that there is no compromise with the quality of food for children.
While instructing the District Mandi Officer, he said that special attention should be focused to ensure cleanliness arrangements in Mandia. He instructed the District Program Officer to ensure registration of Anganwadis under the Food Safety Act.
