Hoshiarpur - Today a deputation headed by Vice President of Local Body Cell Punjab and President of District Struggle Committee Karmveer Bali and Naval Kishore Kalia Madan Dutta met ADC Rahul Chava and gave a memorandum. The memorandum demanded that the municipal corporation is a place of public dealing and its high officials have their residence here.
According to the instructions of the Election Commission, that officer is transferred to another place. But this is not happening in the municipality. High officials are helping the ruling party. They are helping the ruling party by obstructing the work of common people. Karamveer Bali attached the evidence and said that on different dates from this year, memorandums were given to the Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner, Mayor regarding the abandoned street at Mohalla Neelkanth, of which estimates were also made. But in contrast to that estimate, the tender was not placed in the agenda. Examining this, looking at the elections, the officials should be changed quickly so that public works can be done and transparency can come. In case of non-change, the party will stage a dharna, which will be the responsibility of the administration. On this occasion, the ADC assured that action will be taken soon.
