
One arrested with 30 grams of heroin by Pojewal police

Under the leadership of Pojewal Police succeeded in arresting a drug smuggler.

Information regarding this was given by SI Surinderpal Singh, head of police station Pojewal, while giving information, and said that the police party including AS Jarnail Singh had blockaded near Maharaj Bhuriwale Garibdasi Government College. An unidentified youth was roaming near the college grounds. When he saw the police party and started to run, the police party caught Moke and Nojwan. When the said youth was searched based on suspicion, 30 grams of heroin was recovered from him. The said youth was identified as Baljinder Singh, son of Prem Singh, village of Lodhipur police station, Anandpursahib district, Rupnagar. The police party arrested Nojwan on the spot and registered a case against him under the NDPS Act No. 15 A/D: 21-61-85.
