
Sardar Bhagat Singh's Martyrdom Day was celebrated in KC Polytechnic College
At KC Polytechnic College located on Nawanshahr - Kariyam Road, under the supervision of Campus Director Dr. Rashmi Gujarati, various competitions were organized to celebrate the martyrdom days of Shaheed-e-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev. In which around 40 students participated in the speech on stage as well as poster making, slogan writing and quiz. First of all Acting Principal Jaftar Ahmed said that we should keep our thinking positive while getting education.

Student Abhishek Singh, Dr. Sandeep Chandel of Engineering College, Prof. Som Raj Sharma said that when Bhakhat Singh was hanged, it was the 23rd of March. Sardar Bhagat Singh's age was also 23 years, five months and 23 days. At that time the British government wanted to suppress this struggle by hanging these heroes. But after their martyrdom, people from all walks of life jumped into the fight for the freedom of the country. The result of their sacrifices today is that we are breathing in Azad Fiza today. Engineer Alka Bharadwaj said that Ashish and Sumit won the first place, Meen and Komal won the second place in poster making. In slogan writing, Akash got first, Komal got second and Prameshwar got third. In the quiz, the team of Ronak and Abhishek Kumar stood first and the team of Abhishek and Meen stood second. In the end, the program ended with slogans of long live the revolution. Dr Balram, Engineer Jaswant Singh, Engineer Davinder Singh, Engineer Meha Seth, Engineer Alka Bhardwaj, Kajal, Jatinder Kaur, Anita Rani, Jagjeevan Ram, Sanjeev Kumar and Ravinder Kumar were present on this occasion.
