The sweep team conducted a voter awareness campaign in areas with low vote percentage

Patiala, March 16 – The sweep team Patiala visited the low vote percentage areas of Balbera town and held meetings with the villagers for active participation in the election process. Meetings with parents of school-going children were also held to increase voter turnout by over 70 percent under the Election Commission's slogan "Is Bar 70 Par".

   The sweep team led by Nodal Officer Sweep Prof Savinder Rekhi held meetings with the Electoral Literacy Club members of the schools and made them aware of their role in the upcoming elections.
   People were also made aware about Election Commission apps- See Vigil App, Know Your Candidate, Saksham App and Voter Helpline Apps. Suresh Ram of Sassi Brahmana, Mohit Kaushal and Avtar Singh of Sweep Cell contributed in organizing the sweep activities.
