Mahilpur, (March 8) - The annual Shahidi Joad Mela dedicated to the memory of Sahibzada Baba Ajit Singh Ji and his fellow group of Singhan Shaheeds was started today at Gurudwara Singhan Shaheedin of village Nangal Khiladi with the beginning of Akhand Path Sahib of Dhur Ki Bani. 
Every year on 10th March, in this Shaheed Jood Mela, Saint Mahapurush of the area, beloved troops of the Guru, Kirtaniyas, Kavishars and devotees arrive and receive the blessings of Sahibzada Baba Ajit Singh Ji Maharaj and Singhan Shaheeds. This time also Singh Sahib Jathedar Baba Gurdev Singh Ji Bajwara Clan, Guru Ghar's Kirtani Bhai Joga Singh Ji Ramu Thiade Wale, Bal Kavishar Bhai Baljot Singh and Simranjot Singh Chabewal and Bhai Davinder Singh Ji Ragi Jaitpur connected the Sangat with Gurbani and Gur History.
The devotees are requested to reach the Gurdwara Sahib on time on Sunday, March 10 and make the Shahidi Jod Mela a success.
