Patiala, March 1 - Chairman PRTC Ranjodh Singh Hadana has said that two employees of Ludhiana Depot have been suspended and four employees have been summoned to reply after being found guilty during the checking. He said that the employees are constantly being urged to work with honesty and diligence
  But still if any employee is caught doing corruption then strict action will be taken against him. He said that continuous efforts are being made to improve the works of the department, increase the income and improve the public facilities. As part of these efforts, Ludhiana Depot was checked recently. Huge manipulation was found in the records of bus pass and online counter booking. Hadana said that the bus pass was investigated from every aspect due to which the real culprits were arrested. Ranjodh Singh Hadana told about online counter booking that in this, people go to the counter and do the online booking process and if the ticket has to be cancelled, then the concerned officer would deduct ten percent of the booked ticket and refund the money. It is very mandatory to keep a record of this also by the concerned authorities. Due to the negligence of the suspended employees, the department was losing millions. Working on zero corruption, orders have been issued to work with full speed in Ludhiana depot and other depots and stations. He said that according to the orders of the Punjab government, it is being ensured that every work related to public works is done on a priority basis.
