Una 14 February - An awareness workshop on cyber security was organized at the district headquarters Una in which officers and employees of various departments of the district participated. Deputy Commissioner Una Jatin Lal presided over this workshop organized in collaboration with National Informatics Centre.
On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Una instructed the officials of National Informatics Center Una that the information shared in the workshop should also be shared in all the offices of the district and it should be ensured that every office at its own level also takes action related to cyber crime. Workshops should be organized so that other officers and employees in various offices can also be made aware about this important topic. Apart from this, all the district officers should ensure that no personal work other than government work is done in the computer systems of government offices nor any other website is run so that 100% prevention of cyber crime can be ensured.
In the workshop, District Officer of National Informatics Center Sanjeev Kumar gave detailed information about various methods of cyber crime and various aspects related to its prevention. He said that cases related to cyber crimes can be reduced by using genuine software and antivirus in computer systems. Apart from this, avoid opening suspicious e-mail messages and links and do not share your OTP, password and CVV number under any circumstances. He said that a person who is a victim of fraud through cyber crime should lodge a complaint with the police.
In the workshop, Deputy Director of Horticulture Department KK Bhardwaj, Deputy Director of Agriculture Department Kulbhushan Dhiman, District Program Officer (ICDS) Narendra Kumar, Block Development Officer Amb Om Pal Dogra, Block Development Officer Bangana Subhash Atri, Senior Fisheries Officer Ram Singh, Horticulture Development Officer Along with Neha, officers and employees of many other departments were also present.
