
Deputy Commissioner inspected EVM and VVPAT warehouse
Una, February 3 - Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal inspected the control room, warehouse built for the maintenance of EVMs and VVPAT machines for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and gave necessary directions to the officials. The Deputy Commissioner said that in view of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, 780 ballot units, 684 control units and 820 VVPAT machines have been kept in the warehouse established in the district.

The Deputy Commissioner said that in view of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, 780 ballot units, 684 control units and 820 VVPAT machines have been kept in the warehouse established in the district.
Jatin Lal said that 516 polling stations have been made in Una district to conduct the Lok Sabha elections in an organized and peaceful manner.

91 in 42 Gagret constituency,
106 in 43 Haroli constituency,
99th in 44 Una constituency
45 Kutlahar constituency consists of 118 polling stations.
Apart from this, the Deputy Commissioner said that the first level checking (FLC) of EVMs and VVPAT has been done.
He said that the total number of voters in Una district is 4 lakh 26 thousand 724, which includes 2 lakh 16 thousand 078 male voters, 2 lakh 10 thousand 642 female voters and 4 third gender voters. He said that the number of service voters in the district is 6 thousand 668, which includes 6 thousand 498 male and 170 female service voters.
On this occasion, Tehsildar Election Suman Kapoor and other officers and employees were present.
