Una, February 3 - The recruitment process of Vanamitras is going on in Una district. The physical efficiency test of the candidates for Vanamitra recruitment will be held on Tuesday, February 6. This information was given by Divisional Forest Officer Sushil Rana. He informed that 66 Vanmitras will be recruited under 66 vets under Una Forest Division. He told that the last date to apply for Vanamitra was fixed as 30th December. He informed that till the due date, 2 thousand 498 applications were received out of which 109 applications were rejected. He informed that on February 6, 2 thousand 389 eligible candidates will participate in the Vanamitra recruitment process.
Sushil Rana said that two places have been selected in the district for the recruitment of Vanmitras. He said that for the candidates of Una, Bangana, Ramgarh range, the recruitment process will be conducted at Shiv Shankar Cold Store on Old Hoshiarpur Road, Ghaluwal bridge and for the candidates of Amb and Bharwain range, the recruitment process will be conducted at nearby Ravmapa Behad Jaswan (Panjoa to Baduhi).
He told that in Vanamitra recruitment, physical efficiency test for men category will be conducted by measuring height and chest and 5 thousand meter race. Apart from this, there will be 1500 meter race and height measurement for women category. He has requested all the candidates to be present at the Vanamitra recruitment site scheduled on 6th February at 7 am.
