Mohali, August 22 - A luxurious air-conditioned bus was presented to the Aswara Sahib of Dhan Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj by a donor at the historic Gurdwara Singh Shaheed in the nearby village of Sohana.Giving information in this regard, the spokesperson of the Managing Committee said that the donor parked the luxurious bus near Shri Nishan Sahib and handed over the keys of the bus to the office. The donor told the organizers that he only wants to use it in the ongoing service of renovating and maintaining the old form of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji at this pilgrimage site, he wants to keep his identity secret. A very big Palki Sahib has also been installed in the bus by the donor. The bus has been beautifully decorated inside and outside. All the accessories related to the bus have also been installed. The total estimated cost of the bus is about 40 lakhs.
All the papers, insurance etc. of the bus are in the name of Gurdwara Singh Shaheed. The organizing committee and the sevadars together decorated the deg and prayed for the well-being of the donor. It is worth mentioning that earlier also 2 luxurious air-conditioned buses, Mahindra Scorpio, Mahindra Xylo, Mahindra Marazzo, Maruti Versa, 3 Maruti Eco, Qawalis vehicles have been presented to Aswara Sahib of blessed Sri Guru Granth Sahib. Secret and direct gifts of Tata 207, Tata 407, Tata 709, Tata LP Truck, 2 Mahindra Utility, Mahindra Pickup, Mahindra Bolero, Mahindra Camper, Mahindra Mini Truck, Ashoka Leyland Truck, 4 Motorcycles, Unlimited Gold etc. have been made for car service.
