
The Deputy Commissioner reviewed the ongoing development works in the district
Patiala, January 29 - Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sahni reviewed the development work being done by various departments in Patiala district during a meeting held at the district administrative complex. On this occasion, he reviewed in detail the welfare schemes being run by the government including School of Eminence, Aam Aadmi Clinic, NABARD, MGNREGA, Awas Yojana.
Patiala, January 29 - Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sahni reviewed the development work being done by various departments in Patiala district during a meeting held at the district administrative complex. On this occasion, he reviewed in detail the welfare schemes being run by the government including School of Eminence, Aam Aadmi Clinic, NABARD, MGNREGA, Awas Yojana. And instructed the officials that Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Maan is taking continuous report of the ongoing development works in the district and any kind of slack in the ongoing works will not be tolerated. PDA Chief Administrator Gurpreet Singh Thind and Additional Deputy Commissioner Anupreeta Johal were also present in the meeting.
During the meeting, while reviewing the progress of the new tehsil office Samana and Dudhanasadha, the Deputy Commissioner said that the work should be expedited and the progress report should be sent to the Deputy Commissioner's office continuously while scheduling the work. He instructed the group of departments that those departments which involve more than one department in the development work should hold regular meetings so that the unnecessary delay in the work can be reduced and coordination can be ensured. Sakshi Sahni took information from the concerned departments regarding the "Mera Ghar Mere Naam" scheme, furniture, drinking water and internet facility for students in the schools of the district including critical care blocks and instructed that wherever there is any deficiency, it should be resolved immediately.
