Artists of folk media groups said that education strengthens the foundation of any person's life. He said that the state government has decided to start English medium in all government schools from the coming academic session. Apart from this, it has been decided to establish Rajiv Gandhi Model Day-Boarding School equipped with modern technology and equipment in every assembly constituency.
While giving information about Rajiv Gandhi Self-Employment Start-up Scheme, the artists said that the state government has launched the e-taxi scheme for the youth of the state with Rs 680 crore under the first phase of this scheme, Rs 50 will be given on the purchase of e-taxi. There is a provision for percentage subsidy.
He said that under Indira Gandhi Girl Child Protection Scheme, the incentive amount for adopting family planning after one daughter has been increased from Rs 35 thousand to Rs 2 lakh and after two daughters, it has been increased from Rs 25 thousand to Rs 1 lakh.
On this occasion, local villagers including representatives of all Panchayats should be present.
