DIG State Cyber Crime Nilambari Jagdale visited the VITI ground immediately after the rehearsal to ensure security arrangements on the occasion of the district level Republic Day. And a visit was also made with DC Randhawa and SSP Dr. Akhil Chaudhary.
Apart from the district police, students from different schools participated in the parade, PT show and cultural program conducted during the full dress rehearsal. The preparations being made by the students for this national day at the school level for the past several days were shown during the full dress rehearsal. On this occasion, the Deputy Commissioner praised the presentations of the students and asked them to remove some of the shortcomings by conducting another rehearsal in their respective schools tomorrow.
Deputy Commissioner Randhawa also inspected the parade along with SSP Dr. Akhil Chaudhary. And also took a salute from the magnificent march past led by DSP Shehwaj.
The Deputy Commissioner said that on January 26, the chief guest will hoist the national flag at ITI ground at 10 am sharp after paying homage to Shaheed-e-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh at Khatkar Kala. He appealed to the residents of the district to attend the function with enthusiasm.
SSP Dr Akhil Chaudhary said that various gates have been kept at ITI to ensure perfect arrangements for the district level event. He said that all security arrangements have been completed for the implementation of the district level event. On this occasion, ADC (R) Rajeev Verma, SDM Dr. Akshita Gupta, Assistant Commissioner General Dr. Gurneel Kaur, ADC (Development) Sagar Setia and other officials of the district were present.
