After the untimely death of the local poet and singer Maninder Saini alias Man Saini (age 40 years), a condolence meeting was organized at the office of the Creation Center at Virsa Vihar! The president of the center, poet Kanwar Iqbal Singh, said during his address that Saini's untimely death has not only caused a great loss to the literature sector. Prof. Kulwant Aujla said that Maninder Saini, who has been an active member of the Creation Center for many years, has done commendable work in the field of songwriting and singing! Dr. Avtar Singh Bhandal said that Saini left no stone unturned to create his own identity by writing and singing songs related to many religious and serious topics! Principal Kewal Singh Ratra said during the address that it is an unbearable and incalculable loss to pass away of such an active and interested literature lover. The General Secretary of the Center Shehbaz Khan informed that Maninder Saini not only maintained his connection with literature but also provided financial support to literary societies from time to time according to his capacity.
Ashu Kumra and Avtar Singh Gill, taking a look at Saini's novel aspects, said that this passion for singing and writing led to many literary, social and cultural activities from him. Saini's close friends, poets Malkit Singh Meet and Dish Daburji, mentioned that most of his songs were on the lines of Sufi singing. Dr. Paramjit Singh Mansa shared his grief and said that the memory of Maninder Saini, who considered Punjabi singer Gurdas Maan as his musical guru and famous singer Maninder Saini of many other songs like "Nakodar De Rah", "Challa", "Ek Tara", "Holi" And the face will always be remembered.
