MLA Harmeet Singh Pathanmajra told a press conference here today that this temple will be constructed by forming Mata Kaushalya Trust. And for this reason, he himself has handed over the service of this temple to Sri Pataleshwar Temple, Baba Sri Shankar Gir Aulia Ji, Baba Prema Nand Giri Ji of Ghadam by paying one lakh rupees.
On this occasion, MLA Pathanamajra demanded from Prime Minister Narendra Modi that a project of Rs 200 crore should be announced for the development of Bhagwan Sri Ram's maternal village Ghadam on the occasion of Lord Sri Ram Lalla's death ceremony at Sri Ram Temple in Ayodhya. | Rather, the Peka village of Kaushalya, the mother of Lord Ram, should be ignored.
Harmeet Singh Pathanmajra said that the Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has already drawn various proposals for the development of Ghadam. Therefore, the central government constructed the international airport at Patiala in memory of Mata Kaushalya along with making the road from Patiala to Ghadam a four lane. So that this town of mythological and historical importance can be raised on the international map.
Harmeet Singh Pathanamajra said that the father of Lord Rama came to take his Barat at Sri Dasaratha Ghadam, there was Baoli. And here now Gurdwara Milap Sir Sahib is blessed. The shrine of Pir Bhikhan Shah is also present here. So this place, which is the Nanaka village of Lord Ram, should not be overlooked by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led central government during the construction of Lord Sri Ram Temple at Ayodhya.
MLA Pathanamajra said that there are common shrines of Hindu, Muslim and Sikh religion at Ghadam Therefore, village Ghadam is a symbol of commonality, but it is a pity that in the past, outside MLAs continued to be formed in this constituency and no one paid any attention to the development of this holy city. But now under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Maan, no stone will be left unturned for the development of Ghadam. On this occasion, the MLA announced to donate one lakh rupees for the construction of Mata Kaushalya temple, and many devotees present on the occasion also generously donated. More than 10 lakhs was collected on the spot. Pathanamajra said that by creating a trust in the name of Mata Kaushalya, the construction of the beautiful temple will be started very soon. He said that a lecture on the history of this shrine will also be written at the railway station of Patiala.
