
Seizure case of sacks filled with currency and coins in Una district--Counting will be done under the supervision of 3 member committee
Una, 29 April:- A 3-member committee has been formed to monitor the counting of the recovered money in the case of seizure of coins in 82 bags and currency notes in 01 bag near Santoshgarh by a flying squad of police on Sunday (April 28) in Una district. District Treasury Officer, District Language Officer and Project Officer (Snow Energy) of Una district have been made members.
Una, 29 April:- A 3-member committee has been formed to monitor the counting of the recovered money in the case of seizure of coins in 82 bags and currency notes in 01 bag near Santoshgarh by a flying squad of police on Sunday (April 28) in Una district. District Treasury Officer, District Language Officer and Project Officer (Snow Energy) of Una district have been made members. Chairman of the District Expenditure Monitoring Committee, Additional Deputy Commissioner Mahendra Pal Gurjar has issued orders in this regard. The committee has been asked to supervise the counting process and submit the report within the next 2 days. They have been instructed to carefully video record the entire process with strict supervision of the counting process.
The sacks filled with seized money have been kept safe in the district treasury. To ensure the accuracy of the amount present in these bags, counting will be done in the office of the District Treasury Officer.
