
ASI's uniform torn, turban taken off, father and son sent to jail
Patiala, January 21 - A father and son from Chaura village have been arrested and sent to jail for attacking ASI Nachhatar Singh of Urban Estate Police Station, tearing his uniform, removing his turban and insulting the police team. Gurmukh Singh of Phulkiyan enclave had filed a complaint with the police that Jasbir Singh of village Chaura and his son Karanveer Singh had encroached on his land and installed a saw machine.

Gurmukh Singh of Phulkiyan enclave had filed a complaint with the police that Jasbir Singh of village Chaura and his son Karanveer Singh had encroached on his land and installed a saw machine. Gurmukh Singh also showed all the documents related to the ownership of the land and when the police went to give notice to Jasbir Singh's house and asked him to produce the land documents, the father and son got into a fight with the police. ASI's shirt was torn and his turban was also removed. The police team was also abused.
