Una, January 10 - Giving information, Deputy Commissioner Una Raghav Sharma said that under the Chief Minister Sukh Ashray Yojana started by the Himachal Pradesh Government, destitute and orphan children up to the age of 27 years are provided food, shelter, coaching grant, higher education, vocational training, etc. There are many benefits involved such as training, skill development and self-employment ventures. Under the scheme, social security is provided to orphan children.
Raghav Sharma said that Chief Minister Sukh Ashray Kosh has been established at the district level to help orphan and destitute children, whose bank account has been opened in ICICI Bank Una, whose account number is 050601001952, IFSC code ICIC 0000506.
He said that the amount received in this fund will be spent on the beneficiaries of Sukh Ashray Yojana of Una district. He said that the amount donated to the fund will be eligible for income tax exemption under the Income Tax Act as per rules.
The Deputy Commissioner urged the residents of the district to contribute generously to the district level Chief Minister's Happiness Shelter Fund. He said that donating helps others, but also gives more strength to our soul.
