Hoshiarpur 08 January 2024- Congress leader and Lok Sabha member from Anandpur Sahib constituency Shri Manish Tiwari has said that the upcoming Lok Sabha elections are very important for the country. Therefore, in the 2024 elections, it will be necessary to vote thoughtfully to maintain our constitutional rights.

He said that it should be a matter of development But the development will be good only if our rights are protected and the democracy of our country is maintained. All the opposition parties have come together to save this people's state. He said that when our government comes, 365 days employment will be provided under MNREGA scheme.

He said that the 'Mata Vidyavati Monument' at Moranwali which was built by the Congress government at the Centre. The issue of non-maintenance will be raised with the Prime Minister and the minister of the concerned department. He also announced to give 5 lakh rupees for this monument. On that occasion, he called the Deputy Commissioner of Hoshiarpur and asked that if the quorum of the panchayat of village Moranwali is complete, then why an administrator has been appointed here. The Deputy Commissioner said that he will look into the whole matter and give appropriate instructions to the concerned officers. It is worth mentioning here that on September 28, 2023, on the birthday of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, due to alleged political vendetta for quarreling with the ruling MLA of Garshankar, the administrator was appointed to carry out development work at the place of village panchayat of Moranwali. was Now even though the quorum of the panchayat is complete, he is not being allowed to work.

On this occasion, former MLA Love Kumar Goldi said that they have brought two important projects in Garhshankar area, which include the projects of Shree Khuralgarh Sahib and Moranwali, but only these two need to be given attention.
