Patiala, January 4 - The monthly meeting of Punjab Pensioners Welfare Association (Reg.) Patiala was held at Pensioners Home, which was presided over by Gurdeep Singh Walia. On this occasion, the calendar of the year 2024 was released in the meeting and the calendar was distributed to all the members present.

On this occasion, President Gurdeep Singh Walia thanked Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann for giving 4 percent DA to pensioners and appealed that the remaining DA should also be given. Pay commission arrears from 2016 to 2021 should be given, increase in fix medical and pension should be fixed at 2.59. In the meeting, all the members thanked the member of Parliament Maharani Praneet Kaur for the grant given to the pensioners home from the MP quota.
