Patiala, January 4 - Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sahni reviewed the beautification and renovation project for the rejuvenation of Patiala's Little River and Big River. He informed the officials about the instructions of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and directed that the work of the project should be speeded up with mutual cooperation.
He said that due to floods, there has been a lot of damage to the dams of the big river and the STP Due to which there has been some delay in this project but now it has been asked to complete its work quickly.
Taking information about the progress of the work from the concerned officials, Sakshi Sahni said that by reviving the small river and the big river of Patiala, developing it as a tourist destination with its renovation and beautification is an important project of the Punjab government. So that no laxity of any kind should be used in it. The Deputy Commissioner also instructed to send the progress report of this project continuously.
