Enrollment begins for four week dairy training course

Garhshankar - 4 weeks dairy training course is being conducted by Punjab Dairy Development Board Department from 15 January 2024. Giving information about this, Deputy Director Dairy Harvinder Singh said that under the able leadership of Director Dairy Development Department, Punjab Kuldeep Singh Jassowal, a 4 week dairy training program is being started by Dairy Development Department at Dairy Training Center, Phagwara.

Giving information about this, Deputy Director Dairy Harvinder Singh said that under the able leadership of Director Dairy Development Department, Punjab Kuldeep Singh Jassowal, a 4 week dairy training program is being started by Dairy Development Department at Dairy Training Center, Phagwara.
He said that in this training course, dairy farmers will be given practical training from various subject experts to make dairy products from milk, from animal maintenance to various diseases, to make them efficient dairy managers. During this training, model cattle Construction of sheds, milking machines and the necessary techniques and subsidies for complete mechanization of the dairy industry will also be given detailed information. He further informed that the trainees participating in this training program should belong to the rural area, should have passed at least 10th standard and should be between 18 to 55 years of age and should have kept at least 5 animals. The fee for this training course will be Rs.5000 for general category and Rs.4000 for non-caste trainees. Deputy Director Dairy said that those who want to take training should bring their documents such as education certificate, Aadhaar card, voter card, caste certificate and 2 passport size photographs to the office of Deputy Director Dairy, Mini Secretariat, Fourth Floor, Room No. 439. Office work can be contacted during working hours. After training, the trainees will be able to take loan of 2 to 10 milch animals and the government will give financial assistance of 25 percent for general caste and 33 percent for scheduled caste.
