Patiala, January 2 - The induction ceremony of the prestigious Rajindra Gymkhana Club for the year 2024 was held at the club today, which was attended by a large number of club members despite bitter cold. On this occasion, Deepak Kampani, who is stepping down from the post of chairman, welcomed the members while thanking the returning officer and his colleagues for conducting the election properly.
Speaking after installing the newly elected office bearers, the re-elected honorary secretary of the club, Harpreet Singh Sandhu, said that after the completion of the election process, now everyone should leave aside the talk of groupism and work for the betterment of the club. Similar views were also expressed by Dr. Sudhir Verma and the newly appointed president of the club, Dr. Sukhi Boparai. The new treasurer of the club, Eng AP Garg, while thanking the group members, said that the economy of the club will be further improved and proper and transparent utilization of the club's funds will be ensured. During the program when KVS Sidhu was speaking, when he raised a particular point, some members protested and there was an uproar, but later when KVS Sidhu retracted his words by saying "sorry", then "cold - It's cold.
