District Hoshiapur - A meeting of Adarsh Social Welfare Society Punjab was held today in village Roar Majara under the chairmanship of founder president Satish Kumar Soni. In which Jaspreet Kaur Ji, President of District Hoshiapur of the Society, Chief Speaker Punjab Jagdish Rai Ji, eminent Social Worker Master Parkash Ram Ji, Social Worker Rajiv Kumar Kanda Ji, Pandit Vikas Ji participated in a dignified way. This meeting was held in connection with the preparations for the daughter's Lohri ceremony to be held in the village of Rodamjara.
On this occasion, the president of the society, Satish Kumar Soni, said that on January 7, 2024, the daughter's Lohri ceremony is being organized in the village of Roar Majara. In which the Lohri of 25 daughters of village Kunail and village Ror Majara will be celebrated jointly. In which materials related to Lohri will be distributed to young girls. Apart from this, 15 daughters will also be honored, who have left their mark by showing their skills in education and various other fields. On this occasion, the chief spokesperson of the society, Punjab Jagdish Rai ji said that this is the seventh consecutive daughter's Lohri ceremony organized by the society. Which is done in different villages to awaken the importance of daughter in the society. So far our organization has received overwhelming response for this. Jaspreet Kaur, the district president of the society, said that in the past, girls were discriminated against. His birth was considered blessed. Today, daughters are showing their presence in every field and leaving their mark in every field. Eminent social worker Master Parkash Ram ji praised the noble work done by the society and said that we will fully support the society on this occasion.
