
2 Lives will get new light through the eyes of Bhupinder Kumar - Sanjeev Arora
Hoshiarpur - After the death of Bhupinder Kumar (66) son of Balveer Singh, a resident of Mohalla Tagore Nagar, his family members donated his eyes to Rotary Eye Bank and Cornea Transplantation Society. As soon as this information was received, the members of the society, under the leadership of president and eminent social worker Sanjeev Arora, reached the residence of late Bhupinder Kumar.
Hoshiarpur - After the death of Bhupinder Kumar (66) son of Balveer Singh, a resident of Mohalla Tagore Nagar, his family members donated his eyes to Rotary Eye Bank and Cornea Transplantation Society. As soon as this information was received, the members of the society, under the leadership of president and eminent social worker Sanjeev Arora, reached the residence of late Bhupinder Kumar.
Meanwhile, a team led by Dr. Prashant Kumar from Sankara Eye Hospital, Ludhiana, including nurses Isha Rani and Raghuveer Singh, completed the eye donation process. On this occasion, Sanjeev Arora said that the names of those who dedicate their lives to human service remain immortal for centuries. He said that the eyes of Swarvasi Bhupinder Kumar will continue to see even after his departure from this world and they will illuminate the dark life of two people.
He said that thanks to such great personalities today the society has enlightened more than 4000 people and many people have also donated their bodies for posthumous medical research. He thanked the family members of late Bhupinder Kumar for this noble work.
On this occasion, apart from Madan Lal Mahajan, Rajinder Maudgil, wife of Swaravasi Bhupinder Kumar, Trishana Kumari, son Amit Thakur, daughter and son-in-law Shivani and Navdeep Kumar, Surabhi and Varun were also present on this occasion.
