Raghav Sharma said that the work of Bulk Drug Park, the most ambitious project of Himachal Pradesh being built at a cost of Rs 1,923 crore, was started in the year 2023. He said that the work of the scheme for water supply for Bulk Drug Park being built at a cost of Rs 31 crore is being done on war footing. The work of land acquisition for the road being built for Bulk Drug Park at a cost of Rs 42 crore has been started and the work of power supply scheme for 10 MVA load has also been started. He said that the implementation of the Bulk Drug Park Project will provide direct and indirect employment to about 20 thousand people in the district and state. The year 2023 will prove to be a milestone in this direction.
Deputy Commissioner said that in the year 2023, Mata Shri Chintpurni Temple became the first temple to implement Sugam Darshan system for the elderly, disabled, sick and other devotees on the lines of big temples of the country. Through this system, more than 90 thousand devotees easily visited and the temple earned an additional income of Rs 1.25 crore. He said that in the year 2023, Chintpurni Temple has become the first temple in the state to provide electric vehicle facility.
Raghav Sharma said that the blueprint of Himachal Pradesh's first modern museum "Mata Shri Chintpurni Museum" based on Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality technology was prepared in the year 2023 and its work was allotted to the reputed company Pavilion and Interiors which had built the Prime Minister's Museum. Raghav Sharma said that the district administration completed the land acquisition work of 6.135 km Daulatpur-Mandwada section of Daulatpur-Mandwada railway line, important from national security point of view, in the year 2023 and started the work of the railway line at a cost of Rs 283 crore. The project of lighting and murals from Mubarikpur to Bharwain has been approved and tender awarded.
He informed that construction of 2 phases of Model Old Age Home for the welfare of abandoned elderly people in Una district was completed.
He said that in the year 2023, the project worth Rs 870.95 crore of Mandali-Lathiani Missing Link of National Highway 503-A was approved. This 8.153 km project also includes a bridge over Govind Sagar Lake. The work of land acquisition and forest department approval for this project has started in the year 2023.
He said that by organizing special revenue courts in the year 2023, the pending cases of Intakal and Takseem were settled on priority. He informed that out of 3,841 Taksim cases pending on January 1, 2022, 1,658 cases have been disposed of The number of cases received was 43 percent of the total pending cases. Similarly, out of total 24,767 pending cases, 23,614 cases were disposed of which was 95.34 percent of the total pending cases. Both these campaigns brought a lot of relief to the common people in revenue matters.
He said that in the year 2023, concessional loans worth Rs 7.89 crore were provided to 392 rural women self-help groups in Una district. To further strengthen the rural brand “Somabhadra” of the district, a joint production center was established in Ranchi. In the year 2023, an agreement was signed with Bamboo India and Swan Women Federation to operate the bamboo toothbrush manufacturing plant built in Ghandawal. This plant will be started in the first quarter of the year 2024.
He said that in the year 2023, 31 thousand 190 people were given the benefit of 12 lakh 50 thousand 351 employment days. Rs 57 crore was spent on MNREGA works.
He informed that in the year 2023, in-principle approval for 100 bed ESIC hospital was obtained and 1.97 hectare land was identified and transferred in Gondpur Bullan for the project.
He informed that to help the youth prepare for competitive examinations, two new libraries have been started in the year 2023 at Baba Mai Das Sadan, Chintpurni and National Career Service Centre, Rampur. A new library has been approved in Samur Kalan in the year 2023.
Raghav Sharma said that under the Chief Minister Sukhashraya Yojana, 182 orphan children were given the status of Ward of State. Cases of 54 orphan children were recommended for financial assistance for education/business, out of which 13 children have received financial assistance of Rs 7.83 lakh for education/business.
