Raghav Sharma said that the work of Bulk Drug Park, the most ambitious project of Himachal Pradesh being built at a cost of Rs 1,923 crore, was started in the year 2023. He informed that construction of 2 phases of Model Old Age Home for the welfare of abandoned elderly people in Una district was completed.
He said that in the year 2023, the project worth Rs 870.95 crore of Mandali-Lathiani Missing Link of National Highway 503-A was approved. This 8.153 km project also includes a bridge over Govind Sagar Lake. The work of land acquisition and forest department approval for this project has started in the year 2023.
He said that by organizing special revenue courts in the year 2023, the pending cases of Intakal and Takseem were settled on priority. He informed that out of 3,841 Taksim cases pending on January 1, 2022, 1,658 cases have been disposed of The number of cases received was 43 percent of the total pending cases. Similarly, out of total 24,767 pending cases, 23,614 cases were disposed of which was 95.34 percent of the total pending cases. Both these campaigns brought a lot of relief to the common people in revenue matters.
He said that in the year 2023, concessional loans worth Rs 7.89 crore were provided to 392 rural women self-help groups in Una district. To further strengthen the rural brand “Somabhadra” of the district, a joint production center was established in Ranchi. In the year 2023, an agreement was signed with Bamboo India and Swan Women Federation to operate the bamboo toothbrush manufacturing plant built in Ghandawal. This plant will be started in the first quarter of the year 2024.
He said that in the year 2023, 31 thousand 190 people were given the benefit of 12 lakh 50 thousand 351 employment days. Rs 57 crore was spent on MNREGA works.
He informed that in the year 2023, in-principle approval for 100 bed ESIC hospital was obtained and 1.97 hectare land was identified and transferred in Gondpur Bullan for the project.

Raghav Sharma said that under the Chief Minister Sukhashraya Yojana, 182 orphan children were given the status of Ward of State. Cases of 54 orphan children were recommended for financial assistance for education/business, out of which 13 children have received financial assistance of Rs 7.83 lakh for education/business.
