Patiala, December 26 - Regarding the 67th National School Games under 19 (Boys) to be held at Patiala from January 6 to 11, SDM Patiala Dr. Ismat Vijay Singh today directed to complete the preparations on time after holding a meeting with the officials of the concerned departments. .
Dr. Ismat Vijay Singh said that more than 30 teams from across the country will participate in the National School Games basketball competition and the arrangements for accommodation, food, health services and transport of the teams should be completed now.
During the meeting, Deputy DEO Ravinder Singh said that the basketball competition will be held at Government Senior Secondary School Multipurpose Pasi Road and Government Multipurpose High School Punjabi Bagh and the accommodation of the players has been made in Civil Line School along with Physical College Hostel. Dr. Kushaldeep Kaur from Health Department, Gurmeet Singh from Sports Department, Ashwani Kumar from Mandi Board, Darshan Singh from Water Supply Department and other officials and employees of various departments were present in the meeting.
