Patiala, December 24 - State Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Balbir Singh visited Government Rajindra Hospital and Government Medical College today. On this occasion, while inspecting the Covid ward, he said that although no case of new variant of Covid has been reported in the state, the health department has made complete arrangements as a precaution.
Dr. Balbir Singh said that even if the patients suffering from Covid come, the health, medical and research department has made complete arrangements in this regard. He said that there is no need for the residents of the state to panic as the Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is fully prepared to deal with any situation but so far no case of any new variant of Covid has been reported in the state. has come
He said that even the World Health Organization has asked to be alert and take precautions. He said that the state government is keeping a close eye on the current situation. He said that no patient of Covid has been admitted in Patiala so far, but still as a precaution rules should be followed to protect against Covid.
